Dr Francis Ting

Dr Francis Ting graduated from Monash University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery. Following 6 years of general medical and advanced surgical training, Dr Ting commenced his surgical training in Urology in 2016 and was subsequently awarded his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons as a Urological Surgeon in 2021. Dr Ting is a full member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ).

To gain further subspecialist experience Dr Ting completed a robotic pelvic urological oncology fellowship specialising in prostate and bladder cancer at University College London Hospital, which is the highest volume robotic pelvic urological-oncology centre in the United Kingdom. Following successful completion of his fellowship in August 2022, he obtained a consultant urologist post specialising in robotic prostatectomy at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, one of the largest urological cancer centres in Scotland.

Whilst Dr Ting’s specialty interest is in urological cancer, he also provides a comprehensive general urological service including the management of benign conditions such as urinary tract stones, benign prostate enlargement and voiding dysfunction. He is meticulous, caring and dedicated to optimising patient outcomes and is part of the Central Coast Urology team with A/Professor Mark Louie-Johnsun.
